Instead of Taxing soda, sweets or fatty foods, why doesn't the government just stop subsidizing them instead?

Hey teabaggers, you want to talk about wealth redistribution? Turns out the blue states are the ones paying more taxes than they get back in benefits and you guys in the red states are getting their money.
